Experience our award-winning Irish chocolates, still made by hand in our small workshop in Glaslough.
Glaslough Chocolate is located in the quaint and beautiful historic village of Glaslough. It was established in 2013 by chocolatier Trish Murphy-Thom.
“After moving back to my native village of Glaslough I decided to embark on a new adventure creating artisan chocolates by hand - first in my home kitchen, then in a tiny shop right in the centre of the village. We now have a small workshop in Glaslough, but methods have not changed - everything from fillings to decoration and packaging is very much handmade.”
Thanks to our small batch size and making our own fillings, we have full control over all our ingredients and can avoid preservatives. Using fine Belgian chocolate and a few selected, natural ingredients, locally sourced where possible, we aim for tiny bit of heaven in every bite.
We only use the finest Belgian chocolate, local honey from less than a mile away, fresh Monaghan cream and butter and source all other ingredients from the highest quality producers in our area. Our chocolate fillings and fudge are all made by hand using basic, fresh ingredients - and you can taste the difference!
Our aim is to keep our recipes simple and free from artificial flavour enhancers and preservatives.
Most of our packaging can be recycled and we hope to transition to fully compostable/recyclable packaging (with the exception of some ribbons and boxes, which are made as pretty as possible to be reused anyway!) and as close to 100% as possible recycled waste within the next 2 years.

Please be advised that we work with dairy, nuts, gluten (wheat in our hazelnut praline filling) and that all our chocolate contains soy lecithin - traces of these allergens may be found in all our products.
Everything we make is handmade in Ireland and is made in our workshop in the historic village of Glaslough.
